People who love to travel have the world at their feet, but the options can be overwhelming. The Internet makes it easy to discover new destinations and explore itineraries, but on your own, it’s hard to find the best value for your needs with so much information and so many suppliers out there. That's where I can help.
With years of experience traveling the world in a career in international finance, I still have a passion for travel. I now specialize in helping travel clients find the best in luxury travel for the greatest value. I can help sort through the information, narrow down the options and explain the trip details and pricing in a way that will allow the client to make the best and most informed decision.
The more advance planning that can be done, the fewer decisions that will be needed on the trip, the lower the risk of unexpected issues arising and the more relaxing and enjoyable the trip will be. The process I use is similar to the best practices and techniques that were so successful in my financial career. I drill down to understand a client’s needs, preferences and constraints. I learn about their interests and the things that they enjoy while traveling. Then, I provide a number of options for them to consider. With the power of deep supplier relationships and expert travel resources, I can find the best itineraries, suppliers and promotions that are currently available. This reduces the time and stress of planning a vacation, and allows the client to truly enjoy the process of creating an itinerary with a thoughtful partner.
In my career as a banker, I traveled extensively. My favourite part of the world is Asia. It is so full of contrasts – old versus new, eastern vs western, modern versus traditional. Much of my childhood was spent traveling to and living in this fascinating region. I spent many years traveling to Asia during my professional career. One of my most memorable trips was visiting Bhutan in the late 1980’s, decades before it was open to tourists. There is nothing quite as breathtaking as the Tiger's Nest Monastery that is located 10,000 feet high in the mountains of Bhutan.
I also traveled to Pakistan, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, China, Japan, most of the countries in Southeast Asia. Australia and New Zealand as well as Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean and Central America. One day, I want to go on a safari to Africa, visit the Galapagos Islands, see Machu Pichu in Peru, spend some time on the exotic beaches of French Polynesia or the Maldives and finally, cruise to Antarctica on an expedition ship.
My strength lies in my attention to detail. I make sure to consider every option and scenario when planning a trip, which allows my clients to enjoy relaxing, problem free luxury vacations to even the most remote and exotic destinations. I also specialize in vacation travel for persons with physical disabilities, a field that requires special planning, knowledge and resources.
